Joiner Center Archives

In 1984 the Joiner Center acquired the WGBH Archive of the Thirteen-Week Series “Vietnam: A Television History.” The archive, consisting of hundreds of hours of film footage, over ninety hours of interview footage, transcripts, producer’s notes, background materials, as well as the archive of the Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Francois Sully, joined other collections already in the Healey Library Archives to establish the center as a major resource for study of U.S. involvement in Vietnam. Since then the center in cooperation with the Healey Library Archives has acquired several other significant collections through donations.
